20th Anniversary Overview

Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo marks its 20th anniversary in 2026 with a special two-venue format presented in partnership with the Historic Pitot House and The Broadside.

Bayou Boogaloo’s 20th anniversary weekend takes place May 15 through 17, 2026.

Rooted in the culture of Bayou St. John and Mid-City, the event brings together music, food, art, and community in a way that reflects its homegrown spirit.

 Music & Entertainment

More than 20 acts will perform across three stages over the course of the weekend. A curated mix of local music and programming will begin Friday at The Broadside, then continue Saturday and Sunday at both the Historic Pitot House and The Broadside.

Canopy Club VIP Experience at The Pitot House

For 2026, the Canopy Club VIP Experience will take place at the Historic Pitot House on Saturday and Sunday, where guests can enjoy an intimate patron-style gathering in a beautiful outdoor setting along Bayou St. John. The experience will feature local musicians, complimentary food and drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere shaded by the trees and grounds of this historic property.

The Broadside

The Broadside will host three days of music, beginning Friday, May 15, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM with live music and food offerings.

Festivities continue Saturday, May 16, from 3:30 PM to 11:00 PM and Sunday, May 17, from 3:30 PM to 9:00 PM, with a free, family-friendly outdoor market in the parking lot at the entrance to the venue featuring local artists and food vendors.

Inside The Broadside, ticketed guests can enjoy live music throughout the weekend, with expanded programming across two stages on Saturday and Sunday. Canopy Club VIP passholders will also receive access to The Broadside as part of their ticket, along with additional beverage perks at the venue.

🍽️ Food & Drink

Attendees can indulge in a wide array of culinary delights from local vendors, including Cajun and Creole favorites like crawfish beignets, jambalaya, po’boys, and alligator sausage. Refreshing beverages, including Louisiana lemonade and offerings from local breweries, will also be available.

Arts & Crafts

A family-friendly Art Market will be open FREE to the public with or without a ticket to the event. The Art Market opens 3:30PM on Saturday and Sunday.
