The Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo is back for 2008! This year we’ve expanded to two days. We’ll get started on Friday night May 23rd at 5:00 PM and then pick right back up the next morning May 24th at 10:00 AM.
As usual we’ve got a great bunch of performers, vendors and sponsors this year. Please come by and join us for the fun. There’s no admission charge. It’s a festival put on by the folks from Mid-City for the folks from Mid-City, plus anyone else who wants to join us.
The Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo is only in its third year, yet it has grown into an event supporting two stages of live music attracting 15,000 visitors from all over the New Orleans Metropolitian Area and surrounding parishes. The Mothership Foundation is seeking partnerships to develop the Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo into a regional event in the next three years and a national event in the next five years.
